Fans quipped that Swift’s decision also confirmed the Kansas City Chiefs’ participation in the 2025 Super Bowl.

Taylor Swift appeared to make a lighthearted reference to her football star boyfriend Travis Kelce onstage.

Swift, 34, pulled a page from Kelce’s playbook at her Eras Tour concert at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Friday, Oct. 25 — and many believe the maneuver was a covert compliment to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 35.

Swift mimed tossing a football during the outro to «Midnight Rain,» singing: «And he never thinks of me / Except when I’m on TV.»

One fan-recorded video on X (previously Twitter) captured the moment, and Swifties were thrilled to witness the motion, which appeared to be a reference to her football-throwing beau.

«Travis, catch the ball,» one individual said. «@newheightshow @JasonKelce is this proper football form?» A second fan inquired, alluding to Travis’ New Heights podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother, Philadelphia Eagles alum Jason Kelce.

«Shes just tayvoodooing for the Chiefs in February,» another joked, referencing to the 2025 Super Bowl, which will be held at the Caesars Superdome, and the Chiefs’ previous two championships.

«She just cemented the Chiefs’ Super Bowl win with this tayvoodoo,» another person concurred.

«A few months later when the chiefs win the super bowl we are going to look back to this video and say ‘this is when i knew the chiefs had it,'» a another individual said.

Swift has already featured Travis in her Eras Tour concerts. During «Midnight Rain,» she occasionally assumes an archer position, simulating to shoot a bow and arrow. The action is regarded as an homage to Travis, who also makes the posture during touchdown celebrations.

Swift started her historic Eras Tour in March 2023, and since then, she has played in dozens of locations across five continents. In December, the trip comes to an end.
