Sabrina Carpenter jоins Taylor Swift on the New Orleans stage for an unexpected song mashup

At the Caesars Superdome on October 26, Swift and Carpenter mashup the songs «Espresso,» «Is It Over Now,» and «Please, Please, Please.»

On Saturday, October 26, on the second night of her three-night Eras Tour stop in New Orleans, Taylor Swift dazzled the Caesars Superdome, and she had a special visitor to assist her!

Swift, 34, stole a phone from the audience during the show’s surprise songs segment and dialed her pal and former Eras Tour support act, Sabrina Carpenter.

A video of the incident was shared on X (previously Twitter), where Swift kindly informed the audience that they would have to keep quiet while she placed Carpenter «on speakerphone.»

After Swift’s colleague singer responded and clarified that she was on her Eras Tour, she told Carpenter, 25, that she had performed a portion of her song «Espresso» and that the audience «sang every single word so loud.»

Swift went on, «We all love you so much,» «Why aren’t you here with us?» the singer of «Blank Space» then asked her pal where she was.

Following that, the vocalists talked about how they were both at places where people were «screaming really loud.»

«Ball park, how long would that take you?» Swift then asked Carpenter if she could «come down to the stadium real quick?»

«It would probably take me like five seconds,» the «Espresso» singer said, to the cheers of the audience.

«All OK, I love you, see you soon. «Goodbye!» Swift informed her companion, and a few seconds later, Carpenter appeared on stage wearing a white outfit.

After that, the two vocalists joined forces for an unexpected mashup of Swift’s song «Is It Over Now?» with Carpenter’s songs «Espresso» and «Please, Please Please.» With the line, «Let’s fast forward to three hundred takeout coffees later,» the latter song has a charming connection to espresso.

In the past, Carpenter has opened for the Grammy winner in Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Japan, Australia, and Singapore. In February, he even joined her on stage in Australia. Following the cancellation of Carpenter’s opening act due to inclement weather, which caused the event to be delayed, the two performed a combination of the songs «White Horse» and «Coney Island» in Sydney.
