On the second night of the tour, Taylor Swift joked about her piano malfunctioning
Taylor Swift believes that something went wrong!
Swift, 34, surprised her audience with two unexpected mashups during the concert’s secret song part at her second Eras Tour stop in Milan.
The incident occurred following her guitar cover of «Mr. Perfectly Fine» from the Fearless (Taylor’s Version) vault track and «Red» from Red (TV).
When she switched to the piano, things took an unexpected turn.
The 14-time Grammy winner started a cover of «Getaway Car» and «Out of the Woods» by Reputation, but she was only able to make it through the first few notes before her colorfully painted piano broke down.
In a fan video uploaded to TikTok, Swift was heard telling the audience, «We have finally broken this thing,» as she peeked under the piano’s lid. Additionally, a crew member is seen attempting to fix the instrument.
A video posted by a fan on X, which was formerly Twitter, captures the joyful moment when the piano was fixed. «Oh, I did it!» said Swift as he shut the lid.
On the Eras Tour, Swift has performed «Getaway Car» three more times. The most memorable performance was in East Rutherford, New Jersey, where she often collaborated with Jack Antonoff.
Swift played two gigs in Switzerland prior to her Milan tour stop; this was her first visit to the «stunningly beautiful» nation, as she described it on Instagram.
During the hidden songs portion, she also sang some of her favorite songs to commemorate the 113th performance of the Eras Tour.
