Lindsay Lohan lives «with no regrets» after gaining wisdom from her past, stating, «I’ve truly experienced everything»

Lindsay Lohan is focused on a bright future ahead.

The actress, who first gained recognition as a talented child star in the 1998 film The Parent Trap, shared in a recent interview with Flaunt magazine that she feels an overwhelming «sense of gratitude» for having «experienced so many different things in life.»

Now 38, Lohan reflected, «I’ve truly seen it all. And it has made me much stronger. It has helped shape me into a resilient woman. I feel empowered in so many ways, and that’s a great feeling. At this stage of my life, I understand myself better than ever.»

The star, who has been open about leaving her past mistakes behind, now lives in Dubai with her husband Bader Shammas and their son, Luai.

«I live for today. Every day is a new opportunity. I look ahead to the future,» she explained. «I live without regrets. Everything that has happened, I’ve learned from, and for that, I’m thankful. After all, every experience is a lesson in life.»

Lohan further explained, «It’s important not to ignore the lessons you’ve learned because you never know… you should always take something valuable from your past.»

Now, Lohan is determined to ensure that «everything I do aligns with my values.» She shared earlier this year that she stepped away from Hollywood for several years after feeling that negative attention was overshadowing her professional accomplishments.

«I feel like some of my work got lost in the chaos of paparazzi and the media frenzy when I was younger, and that’s frustrating,» she admitted.

«I wish that part hadn’t happened. It seemed to take on a life of its own. That’s why I wanted to disappear. I thought, ‘If there’s no drama, they’ll focus on my actual work.'»

The Mean Girls star also mentioned in the interview that she has no intention of releasing a tell-all book or documentary about her life in the near future.
