Khloé Kardashian Reveals Why She and Her Two Kids Are Skipping the Family Christmas Eve Celebration for the ‘First Time in Ages’
Khloé Kardashian is putting her Christmas Eve plans on hold this year.
The 40-year-old Good American co-founder revealed on her Instagram Stories that she and her children—Tatum, 2, and True, 6, whom she shares with ex Tristan Thompson—will be skipping the family’s annual Christmas Eve festivities due to her kids being under the weather.
“Tatum was sick all weekend, and now my TuTu isn’t feeling well,” Khloé wrote. “For the first time in such a long time, we’re missing Christmas Eve 🥹.”
Expressing her concern for her little ones, she added, “I feel so bad for my sick babies. It’s no fun, but I’m hoping we’re all better for Santa tomorrow! ❤️🎄💚.”
In a December interview with *Bustle*, Khloé Kardashian opened up about her decision to give her daughter, True, a sibling, sharing that the idea became important to her after losing her father.
«Not to sound morbid, but when my dad passed away, my mom—despite how incredible and amazing she is—couldn’t fully grasp the pain we were going through,» Khloé explained.
Reflecting on this, she said, «For True, I thought, ‘She needs to have someone.’ It’s inevitable that at some point, both of her parents won’t be here. I want her to have that built-in support system.»
During the interview, Khloé also shared how her kids have picked up on some of her ultra-organized tendencies.
“Sometimes I notice them lining up their toys in a specific way, and I catch myself thinking, ‘Oh no, they’re mirroring me,’” she admitted.
Becoming a parent has also shifted her perspective on perfection. «Before having kids, I struggled a lot more with giving myself grace,» Khloé said.
«Now, I realize it’s okay to let them see a messy room. I don’t want them to feel like everything always has to be perfect.»
