While Ben Affleck stayed in Los Angeles during the Fourth of July weekend, Jennifer Lopez took a trip to the Hamptons and didn’t seem bothered.
After arriving back in Los Angeles from her vacation in Europe, the 54-year-old Atlas actor was first sighted in New York on Monday, July 1.
According to a source who spoke with PEOPLE, she «has seemed happy and peaceful during her week in the Hamptons.»
The source claims that «she doesn’t appear upset at all.»
Despite spending the holiday together at Michael Rubin’s yearly star-studded white party in the Hamptons last year, the pair has been spending much of their summer apart due to marital discord.
Although Affleck, 51, had just finished filming The Accountant 2, a follow-up to his 2016 action movie, in Los Angeles, he decided to spend the holiday on the West Coast. On Wednesday, July 3, he was seen leaving for work.
For her part, Lopez’s Hamptons activities included going plant shopping with her manager Benny Medina, having lunch at Sant Ambroeus East Hampton,
and riding a bike with her friend and vocal instructor of many years, Stevie Mackey.
Nonetheless, Lopez and Affleck—who tied the knot in July 2022—have persisted in donning their wedding bands.
The I Am This… The singer and her ex-husband Marc Anthony have twins, Emme and Max, who are 16 years old. With his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, Affleck is the father of three children: Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.
