Billie Eilish’s mother makes a reappearance in a previous season cameo as a casting director

Over Friends’ ten seasons, a plethora of celebrities made cameo appearances.

Although the appearances of Brad Pitt, Reese Witherspoon, and Bruce Willis are well-known, Billie Eilish’s mother Maggie Baird, an actress, is less well-known for her role as Casting Director No. 2 in The One Where Joey Loses His Insurance.

She made an appearance in 1999’s Season 6, Episode 4, starring opposite Matt Le Blanc, when Joey auditioned for Maggie’s unidentified character and was unsuccessful.

Maggie has made appearances in several popular television shows, such as The West Wing and X Files, but her role in Friends is by far the most well-known.

In the episode, Joey has a very painful hernia and has to find a new job immediately because he loses his health insurance.

Maggie, along with the other casting directors, asks him to carry a bag of dog food that he is meant to be promoting in the commercial as he walks in front of them.

A victim of his excruciating ailment, Joey replies, ‘Or I could just point at it? Blah, blah, Purina, blah. NOW, point to a bag.

The re-emergence of the cameo coincides with the news that Billie, Maggie’s daughter, was awarded the 2020 Spotify «most streamed» female artist.

Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande were beaten for the top place by the No Time To Die hitmaker, who has 49,736,031 monthly listeners on the app.

She was number one on the list even though she hadn’t put out an album since her breakout record When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go in March 2019?
