While promoting her new biopic, Maria, in New York City on Tuesday, Angelina Jolie was the picture of sophistication.
The 49-year-old actress from Maleficent, who recently walked the red carpet at the Director’s Guild of America in New York City, was spotted walking toward a waiting car in a parking garage on a busy evening.
Maria, which has already created Oscar talk since the trailer was released, will be available on Netflix on December 11 of this year.
Jolie attracted attention by donning a flowing black dress with a tight waist and a frontal plunging neckline.
The gown’s hem covered over the shoes she had chosen to wear, and a black velvet shawl completed the ensemble.
The strands fell in soft waves from Angelina’s long hair, which was split in the center and slightly pushed back from her face.
She accented the ensemble with a dazzling ring, a delicate necklace with a silver chain, and a pair of dangling silver earrings.
Glammed up for the evening, the star’s makeup included a smokey shadow around her eyes and a coat of mascara on her lashes.
Before proceeding to her next location, Jolie gave a little smile as she was led into the lobby of what looked to be a parking garage.
During a publicity tour for the biographical psychological drama film about the late opera singer Maria Callas, the actress has been quite busy.
She most recently went to see the project shown on Monday at the Crosby Street Hotel in New York City.
During the celebrations, Angelina happened to run across Candice Bergen, another actress.
As they mixed together, the Murphy Brown alum and Jolie were spotted stopping for a special photo.
Starting on November 27, the film will have a limited theatrical run in the US. On December 11, it will be available on Netflix.
When Maria’s official trailer was unveiled last month, it immediately sparked Oscars fervor among viewers.
