Son Pax is receiving care from Angelina Jolie while he recuperates from an accident in Los Angeles.
Jolie, 49, is «with him and reported that he’s stable,» according to a source.
Pax, 20, was apparently taken to the hospital following an incident in Los Angeles on Monday, July 29. When the accident occurred at around 5 p.m. on Los Feliz Boulevard,
Pax was riding an e-bike in a busy location without a helmet, according to law enforcement sources who spoke with TMZ. According to reports, he had hip trouble and a brain injury.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a severe traffic collision report has been completed, and an accident was reported on July 29 at 5:12 p.m. involving a male in his early 20s who was riding a scooter.
Along with her former partner Brad Pitt, Jolie is parents to Maddox, 22, Vivienne, 16, Knox, 16, and Shiloh, 18.
PEOPLE’s inquiries for comment were not immediately answered by representatives for Jolie and Pitt.
According to a source who spoke with PEOPLE earlier in July, Jolie «seems very happy and content with her life» right now and is «focused on her kids and work.»
On her upcoming film Without Blood, which she directed alongside her boys as a member of the team, the Oscar winner collaborated with Pax and Maddox.
The film will screen at the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival for its world premiere.
Pitt, 60, has «virtually no contact» with his adult children, according to a second source who recently spoke with PEOPLE, but «he has visitation with the younger kids» in accordance with his arrangement with Jolie.
