Travis Kelce praised Taylor Swift, noting the «comfort» of her support off the field
Travis Kelce spoke about the strength of his relationship with Taylor Swift, emphasizing the support they give each other as they excel in their careers.
On *The Stephen A. Smith Show* on January 15, Kelce expressed how their bond helps him focus on his craft.
“Being in a strong relationship gives me the support I need to focus on being the best version of myself,” Kelce explained. “It’s why I wanted to be there for Taylor, supporting her as she pursues her own goals.”
Kelce, 35, shared that his relationship with Swift has brought him confidence and comfort, both on and off the field, making him more focused than ever on his game.
“I’m as focused as I’ve ever been on being the best player for my team,” he added.
Smith also asked Kelce about the impact of his relationship on his football mentality, to which he responded, «I think personally, that’s the beauty of being in a strong relationship.»
He further explained how the support helps him concentrate on his performance without worrying about things off the field.
During an appearance on *The Pat McAfee Show* on January 13, Kelce also shared that he’s a supportive presence for Swift’s creative process but never interferes.
“I’m here to support it,” he said, adding that Swift will be attending the Chiefs’ playoff game on January 18.
