The Netflix teaser for Sabrina Carpenter’s A Nonsense Christmas shows duets with Shania Twain, Tyla, and Chappell Roan
The antithesis of nonsense is the roster of special guests that Netflix has enlisted for A Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter.
At her Short n’ Sweet Tour’s last U.S. stop at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on Monday, November 18, 25-year-old Carpenter unveiled the star-studded teaser for her Christmas special, which will air on Netflix on December 6.

Before hinting at her duets with Shania Twain, Tyla, and Chappell Roan, the «Please Please Please» chart topper sings «ho, ho, ho» in the teaser.
The «Taste» singer opens the teaser, which is set to Carpenter’s seductive song «A Nonsense Christmas,» by stating, «Christmas is coming early this year — I wouldn’t count on a silent night.»
A Nonsense Christmas was directed by Sam Wrench, who also directed the live film for Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour.

The logline for A Nonsense Christmas indicated that the show will feature performances of «songs from Carpenter’s holiday EP fruitcake and other iconic chart-topping holiday covers,» however the guests announcement did not clarify which songs the performers will play.
Two of her guests have had memorable covers sung by Carpenter: Twain’s «That Don’t Impress Me Much» at her tour stop on September 25 and Roan’s «Good Luck, Babe!» for BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge series.

Carpenter’s cover was «a great complement,» Twain said in an interview with E! News in September, adding, «[Carpenter is] such a talented guy! She is intelligent.
The ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future will be portrayed by Carpenter, Brunson, and Delevingne at some time in the Netflix special.

In the teaser, Brunson says, «I think your bangs are adorable,» to which Carpenter responds, «Thank you.» He abandoned me, so I got them.
Additionally, the singer of «Espresso» is seated on Santa’s lap.

Santa sings, «I’m working late because I’m Santa,» at the end of the trailer, twisting Carpenter’s well-known line, «I’m working late because I’m a singer.»
Netflix will debut A Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter on December 6 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
