Before concluding her Eras Tour on December 8, Swift will do nine performances in Canada.

Thanking her fans for their unwavering support, Taylor Swift is back.

Swift, 34, commented on her six 2025 Grammy Award nominations on stage at Toronto’s Rogers Centre on Thursday, November 14.

Swift became the first woman to garner seven nominations in the album of the year category, one of which was for her work on The Tortured Poets Department, an award she has previously won four times.

As she accepted the 2024 award for best pop vocal album, she revealed that she was working on her eleventh studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, which she described as a «really emotional» endeavor.

A fan took a video of her telling the crowd, «You guys did something so amazing over the course of the last few months,» during Thursday’s performance.

«I’m referring to your embrace of the CD, The Tortured Poets Department.

It’s very emotional for me that I created this album during the Eras Tour, and it’s just blown my mind.»

«I made that album and composed that album while [trying] to hide it from you guys.

Following the album’s announcement, she said, «we were essentially working really hard to covertly put together a new chapter in the Eras Tour of the Tortured Poets Department and we wanted to surprise you with it.»

«And the most recent thing that you did, because everything that happens is a direct reflection of the passion that you show, is you guys got this album nominated for six Grammys,» Swift said after considering the record’s chart success. «It’s so unbelievable, so thank you.»

Swift concluded her U.S. tour dates on November 3 and used the chance to encourage her fans to cast their ballots on Instagram before her run of performances in Canada.

We couldn’t have wished for a more spectacular way to wrap out our Eras Tour performances in the United States.

With 207,000 gorgeous people in Indianapolis who showered us with love, excitement, and pleasure, I had the time of my life,» she wrote.

«I know I’ll be thinking back on this weekend and smiling because it was just like a dreamscape, all of it,» she said. We are grateful to everyone who attended our most recent three American performances.
