Taylor Swift Makes Her First Instagram Post After Concluding Her Record-Breaking Eras Tour — Featuring Beloved Lyrics
A new era is unfolding for Taylor Swift.
After wrapping up her record-breaking Eras Tour on Sunday, December 8, in Vancouver, the 34-year-old pop sensation shared a carousel of behind-the-scenes photos from her time onstage.
Along with the snapshots, Swift captioned the post with lyrics from her iconic ballad «All Too Well,» adding a personal touch with a few candid moments: one showing her inside the «cleaning cart» that secretly transported her to the stage, and another of her with her backup dancers, singers, and band. «It was rare. I was there. I remember it,» she wrote, concluding the post with a heart emoji.
In addition to celebrating her tour’s success earlier this week Swift showed her appreciation for her touring team with a massive bonus payout totaling $197 million, rewarding everyone from truck drivers and caterers to dancers and production staff.
After her 149th and final show, Swift’s production company, Taylor Swift Touring, shared with The New York Times that over 10 million fans attended the Eras Tour, with more than $2 billion in ticket sales.
At the beginning of her final performance, Swift reflected on the global journey, telling the crowd, «We’ve had so many adventures. It’s been the most exciting, powerful, electrifying, intense, and challenging experience of my entire life.»
Before singing «Karma,» the final song of her set, Taylor Swift took a moment to express her gratitude to fans, calling them a part of «the most thrilling chapter of my entire life so far.»
As the show came to a close, Swift and her entire team gathered on stage for a heartfelt group hug.
She then took the time to embrace each performer individually, sharing a personal moment of appreciation.
On December 10, Swift’s longtime bass player, Amos Heller, shared his reflections on the unforgettable journey of the Eras Tour.
“You command such respect and admiration from everyone lucky enough to contribute to your vision,” he wrote to Swift. “Your combination of focus, heart, stamina, and joy brings out the best in everyone around you. Thank you for trusting me with my part of your journey. It’s been the ride of a lifetime. I love you.”
