Taylor Swift Handles Technical Issues at the First Eras Tour Performance During «Lavender Haze»
When the singer performed her first Eras Tour show in Indianapolis on November 1, her microphone pack needed to be changed.
Even a technical issue onstage won’t stop Taylor Swift!

Swift had to have her microphone pack replaced when it malfunctioned onstage during her performance of «Lavender Haze,» which was part of her Eras Tour engagement in Indianapolis on Friday, November 1.
Swift appeared to cry out to the crew during her performance when she remarked, «I need a new pack,» into her microphone in a video that was shared on TikTok at the time.

Swift continued to sing into the microphone while walking in a circle and reaching behind her back with one arm. Swift was wearing a purple fuzzy coat and a glittery minidress onstage.
As she proceeded to perform, she addressed the crew offstage once more, saying, «I just need a new wireless pack because this one is out of battery, please,» while remaining still in the middle of the stage.

Before a crew member arrived onstage to assist her, the «Fortnight» singer continued to perform as she crossed the stage and back again, always acting like a veteran.
Swift took off her coat, lowered her dress to expose a glittering blue bodysuit underneath, and spun around while the crew member replaced her microphone pack behind her while she continued to dance.
Swift continued to sing into her microphone throughout the tech repair, tapping her knee in time with the song and patting her ear with her other arm.

The crew member exclaimed, «Thank you,» and hopped up and down before moving on to the next part of the performance when she had completed replacing her microphone pack.
Fans expressed their admiration for the artist in the TikTok video’s comment area.
«Handled it expertly while remaining hilarious, the vocals, the thank you, the little dance, the shirt lift, and the tech guy not knowing what to do with the jacket 😂.»One follower said.

On November 1, Swift played her first of three Eras Tour dates at Indianapolis’ Lucas Oil Stadium.
On December 8, the 14-time Grammy winner will wrap off her Eras Tour in Vancouver.
