Taylor Swift grabs her crotch on new album cover without a brа, making history
Taylor Swift has posed up a storm for her raciest album cover yet, after making Grammys history at the 2024 ceremony.
The Love Story hitmaker, 34, crashed her own Instagram account after announcing her new studio album, entitled The Tortured Poet’s Department.
She announced her new arrival while accepting her 13th Grammy Award, for Best Pop Vocal Album, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
Taylor told the audience, who waited with bated breath: “I want to say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret that I have been keeping from you for the last two years, which is that my brand-new album comes out April 19th.
It’s called The Tortured Poet’s Department. I’m going to go and post the cover right now backstage.”
In a black and white album cover, Taylor donned a pair of tiny black shorts and a silky crop top, with one strap slipping down her shoulder to make it clear she wasn’t wearing a bra underneath.
The star lay on a huge white bed, cuddled in a pillow, with one hand covering her crotch and the other across her chest.
Though only half of Taylor’s face is visible in the new snap, she arranged her blonde tresses to cascade down her body and bared her sculpted thighs to the camera in her sultriest pose yet.
She seemed to be taking some inspiration from her Midnights’ album artwork, cutting off her eyes and showing her lips and nose.
Taylor captioned her teaser post: “All’s fair in love and poetry… New album, THE TORTURED POET’S DEPARTMENT.
Our April 19.” She had soon racked up nearly 10million likes, though she turned off comments to avoid fan speculation.
Accepting her award on stage, she gushed to fans: “Okay, this is my 13th Grammy. Which is my lucky number. I don’t know if I’ve ever told you that.
I want to say thank you to the members of the recording academy for voting this way, but I know that the way that the recording academy voted is a direct reflection of the passion of the fans.”
