Taylor Swift is amazed by her admirers!

The 34-year-old singer expressed her satisfaction in the «joy» her fans have given to her tour during her Eras Tour stop in New Orleans on Friday, October 25. She also recounted the first time she witnessed Swifties exchange friendship bracelets at her performances, a custom that has become a hallmark among crowds.
Swift addressed followers, «You’ve created traditions,» in a video that was uploaded to a fan account on X (previously Twitter).

Every time we put on a concert, you’ve sparked this widespread celebration. And it truly does make me feel very pleased.»
She referred to the enormous friendship bracelet that was on display outside the Caesars Superdome to commemorate the arrival of her tour there when she said, «I just showed up one day and you guys were trading friendship bracelets and I was like, ‘that’s cool’ — and now there is a giant friendship bracelet on the outside of this stadium.»

Swift ended, amid applause from the audience, «which is so nice of them to do for us — but it’s even nicer of you guys to create things that went so far beyond what I ever expected for this tour.»
Since Swift’s Eras Tour started in March 2023, friendship bracelets have been a common sight for her followers.
Swifties made their own beaded bracelets including words and titles from her songs, which they then exchanged with other Swifties at the performance.

Selena Gomez, Halsey, Lupita Nyong’o, Sarah Paulson, Mindy Kaling, Lance Bass, and Blake Lively are among the celebs who have sported the friendship bracelets that Swift’s admirers sent them.
Swift’s 37-year-old closest friend Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds attended her performance at her gig in New Orleans on Friday.
