Shоcking. Ariana Grande sings with Charli XCX about ‘mean fans’
Among the several A-list musicians included on Charli XCX’s Brat remix album is Ariana Grande.

This weekend’s Saturday Night Live presenter, the 31-year-old Thank U, Next hitmaker, joined the 32-year-old British singer on her song Sympathy Is A Knife, adding her own special touch.
Grande’s rap on the lively dance song, roughly titled Issa Knife, addresses’mean fans’ and detractors.

To begin her first bar, she croons, «It’s knife when you know they’re counting on your mistakes / It’s knife when you’re so pretty, they think you must be fake.»
‘It’s a knife when they dissect your body on the front page / It’s a knife when they won’t believe you, why should you explain?’ the former Disney child star continues to sing.
‘It’s a knife when the cruel people dislike the lovely fans,’ Ariana complains in another part of the tape.

«When someone says they like the old me and not the new me, I’m like, ‘Who the f**k is she?'» she jokes later.
For the first time in her career, Charli, whose Brat project is her most financially successful, talks about being «on top.»

«It’s a knife when you’re finally on top / ‘Cause logically, the next step is they want to see you fall to the bottom,'» she sings, expressing her point of view.
Billie Eilish, Bb Trickz, Bon Iver, Addison Rae, and more artists are featured on XCX’s latest album, Brat, which is very different yet still fantastic.

In recent years, Grande has been inundated with inquiries and remarks over her changing appearance.
Most recently, in September, she participated in Vanity Fair’s Lie Detector Test series and denied having plastic surgery.

She also openly stated, «I’ve had Botox and fillers in different places, but I stopped, like, four years ago.» That’s the extent, too.
