Selena Gomez revealed that she quickly notices her pet peeves, admitting she’s particularly sensitive to certain behaviors
Selena Gomez is quick to spot what bothers her. In a January 3 interview for *W Magazine’s Best Performances Issue*, she shared her biggest pet peeves.
«My pet peeves are people who are late,» said the 32-year-old. She also mentioned being sensitive to how people treat others, especially if they treat her differently.
«I notice those things very quickly,» Gomez added, emphasizing how much she values the way her friends are treated, particularly those outside the industry.
Gomez, who is receiving Oscar buzz for her role in *Emilia Pérez*, also reminisced about childhood crushes. «When ‘Beautiful Soul’ came out, that was life-changing for me,» she said of Jesse McCartney.
She also fondly remembered having a crush on Chad Michael Murray from *One Tree Hill*.
Though she had many crushes, it wasn’t until she was «11 or 12» that she had her first kiss—on *The Suite Life of Zack & Cody* with Dylan Sprouse.
She recalled, «It was funny because both of us were so young. We were figuring out how to kiss.» Her first kiss in real life came when she was 14.
On January 2, Gomez shared a sweet New Year’s post, featuring photos and videos with her fiancé Benny Blanco, just weeks after their engagement.
The slideshow included a cozy selfie, a shot from their glam night out, and a picture of the couple sharing a kiss. She also showed off her engagement ring in a mirror selfie, captioning the post, «Happy new years ❤️.»
The couple spent their first Christmas as an engaged couple at a Hanukkah party hosted by composer Benj Pasek.
