Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are giving back by serving meals to first responders during the Los Angeles fires, sharing, «We’re doing more drops.»
Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are stepping up to assist those in need.
On Thursday, January 16, the engaged couple, who announced their engagement in December, posted videos of themselves distributing food to first responders amid the ongoing Los Angeles fires.
In a video shared on Gomez’s Instagram Stories, she and Blanco, 36, donned masks while unpacking boxes of food and setting them out on a table.
“Grateful for these individuals,” Gomez, 32, wrote in the caption.
Blanco also shared a picture of a van packed with packages from various beverage brands on his Instagram Stories, thanking brands like CELSIUS Energy Drinks, Liquid I.V, Prime, and SuperGoop.
He then posted a clip showing boxes filled with sandwiches from The Cheese Store of Beverly Hills.
“Thank you thank you thank you,” Blanco expressed, followed by a photo of the staff from the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.
«Thank you to all the first responders, National Guard, and firefighters!!! You guys are superheroes!!!” Blanco added in the caption.
Blanco later posted a picture of his fiancée with first responders, noting that they would continue their charitable efforts.
“We are doing more drops!!! Any companies that want to donate, please DM me!!!
Thank you again to all the companies that showed up,” he wrote.
The L.A. fires, which began on January 7, have forced tens of thousands of residents to evacuate their homes.
As of January 14, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner confirmed 25 deaths related to the fires.
