Salma Hayek proves she still hasn’t kicked her smokiոg habit while stuck in traffic

Salma Hayek proved she hasn’t quite kicked her smoking habit, as she enjoyed a cigarette while caught in traffic in Los Angeles on Monday.

The Magic Mike actress, 57, wore a pair of black sunglasses along with a navy top during the outing.

Wearing her locks in an updo, the film star tossed her cigarette out the window before driving away.

Selma previously hated cigarettes until she took on the role of Mexican painter Frida Kahlo in a movie about her life which required her to smoke.

She said: ‘I hated cigarettes and I had to learn how to do it for the movie… When I started, I was smoking some horrible, old Mexican cigarettes without a filter, because that’s what used to smoke.

‘So, at the beginning, I used to throw up after a couple of scenes, and then I actually got addicted to that thing that I hated so much.

‘I stopped (for) two years when I was pregnant, and I was breastfeeding. Thank God I breastfed for so long because it kept me away from the cigarettes.’

Salma did previously try to quit, telling Marie Claire in 2007: ‘It’s the vice you could possibly pick. I’ve tried to quit before. But this time I’m done with it. I’ve changed.’

It comes after the Mexican beauty celebrated her 15th wedding anniversary to billionaire businessman François-Henri Pinault on Valentine’s Day.

Salma and the 61-year-old CEO of Kerring — who has a reported net worth of $7 billion — got engaged in March 2007.

After a nearly two-year engagement, they tied the knot in Paris on February 14, 2009, renewing their vows just a few months later in Italy.

The Desperado star shared an undated black-and-white snap on her Instagram post, expressing her love for Francois. ‘

After 18 years together and 15 years of marriage, you still make loving you easy, fun, deep and fresh like a gentle breeze. Happy anniversary, mi amor.’
