The singer, 33, has managed to gain a coveted invite to Anna Wintour’s annual fashion parade, held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and hasn’t disappointed when it comes to pushing boundaries.

The singer proved she was every inch the fashion chameleon, as her 2024 dress looked worlds away from the black Prabal Gurung gown with dramatic train she wore last year.

Flaunting her incredibly toned physique, Rita went braless in the revealing garment, arriving at the event with her husband Taika Waititi, who was ever the gentleman as he helped sort her dress train on the red carpet.

For Rita’s 10th appearance at the fundraiser, she put her figure on full display as a curtain of colourful beads barely concealed her modesty.

The singing sensation revealed the beading on the dress dates back to 1st and 2nd century BC, and they are sourced from all over the world.

She told carpet presenters Gwendoline Christie and Ashley Graham: ‘I think some of these beads are older than people on the planet… It is very heavy’.

To accessorise, Rita paired her bold look with a pair of nude heels and a gold bag.

She was spotted leaving the Carlyle Hotel wearing a bizarre headpiece, which seemed to have been discarded before she arrived at the star-studded event.
