Ricki Lake’s beloved «Dream Home,» where she tied the knot, has been destroyed in the Los Angeles fires. She shared the heartbreaking news, saying, «It’s all gone.»

Ricki Lake’s home was tragically destroyed in the devastating L.A. fires.

The 56-year-old former talk show host shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram, writing, «It’s all gone. 💔.»

«I can’t believe I’m typing these words,» she added, expressing her disbelief while mentioning that one of her friends made a courageous attempt to save the Malibu property.

«Ross and I lost our dream home. The term ‘dream home’ doesn’t even do it justice.»

Lake referred to the house as their «heaven on earth» and the place where they had hoped to spend their later years.

«We never took our heavenly spot on the bluff overlooking our beloved Malibu for granted, not even for one second,» she wrote.

Calling the loss «immeasurable,» she shared that this was the place she and her husband, Ross Burningham, had married in January 2022.

In a Facebook post from August 2019, Lake had announced the exciting news of breaking ground on her long-awaited dream home.

«My new #malibu home is happening!» she had written, expressing her excitement after purchasing the property five and a half years prior. «So excited. For reals. ❤️ @ Malibu, California.»

The fires began on January 7, when wildfires spread across Southern California, including Pacific Palisades and Eaton Canyon.

The Palisades fire, now the most destructive in Los Angeles County history, grew to 11,802 acres by January 8, with five confirmed fatalities, according to the Associated Press.

Many celebrities living in the area had to evacuate, and like Lake, some lost their homes.

«I grieve along with all of those suffering during this apocalyptic event,» she said.

«Praying for all of my neighbors, my friends, my community, the animals, the firefighters, and first responders. More to share soon of how we escaped with Dolly and not much else.»

«For now, I grieve. 💔💔💔,» she concluded.
