Paris Hilton reveals that her 2-year-old son Phoenix dreams of becoming a firefighter after witnessing the destruction of their Malibu home in the Los Angeles fires.
Paris Hilton’s 2-year-old son Phoenix has expressed a desire to become a firefighter after the tragic loss of their Malibu home in the Los Angeles wildfires.
In a recent interview, Hilton shared that Phoenix wants to pursue a career in firefighting, saying, «He said he wants to be a fireman» when asked by TMZ about his future aspirations.
The 43-year-old DJ and heiress also spoke emotionally about the devastation caused by the fires, expressing her heartbreak for all those affected.
«The families, the children, the animals—it’s just been heartbreaking to see what’s happened to California,» she said.
Hilton also discussed her family’s recent experience with fostering a dog named Zuzu, who had to be surrendered after her family’s home was destroyed in the fires.
«We love Zuzu,» Hilton said, noting that the dog’s owners lost their home in Altadena.
She revealed that her family has been fostering Zuzu for the past week and has now decided to adopt the dog.
Regarding the future of her own home, Hilton shared that her husband, Carter Reum, is handling the process of rebuilding.
Her comments came just over a week after she shared footage of the remains of their Malibu property, which was destroyed in the Pacific Palisades fire.
“I’m standing here in what used to be our home, and the heartbreak is truly indescribable,” Hilton wrote on Instagram.
“When I first saw the news, I was in complete shock. I couldn’t process it.
But now, standing here and seeing it with my own eyes, it feels like my heart has shattered into a million pieces.”
She continued, “This house wasn’t just a place to live—it was where we dreamed, laughed, and created the most beautiful memories as a family.
It was where Phoenix’s little hands made art that I’ll cherish forever. To see it reduced to ashes… it’s devastating beyond words.”
