Paris Hilton is continuing her efforts to assist those affected by the ongoing Los Angeles wildfires, including fostering a dog whose family lost their home in the blaze.

Following the outbreak of the Palisades and Eaton Fires on January 7, Hilton shared the heartbreaking news that she and her family witnessed their Malibu home burn on live TV.

Two days later, she traveled to Pasadena to support the community, including helping the Pasadena Humane Society with animals displaced by the fires.

On January 13, Hilton posted on X, asking for help to locate the owner of a cat found in Altadena, an area severely impacted by the Eaton Fire.

She appealed for anyone from the region to assist in reuniting the cat with its owner, providing its animal ID number.

She also mentioned that her nonprofit, 11:11 Media Impact, had contributed to supporting the shelter and was continuing to raise funds for displaced families and pets.

Hilton shared on Instagram her volunteer work with Baby2Baby, the Hilton in Montebello, and the Pasadena Humane Society. She also revealed that she was fostering a dog named Zuzu, whose family had to surrender her after their home was destroyed.

Hilton encouraged others to consider fostering animals in need, stressing the importance of offering temporary or permanent homes when possible.

Hilton launched an emergency fund with 11:11 Media Impact to support displaced families, especially those with young children, starting with a $100,000 donation and pledging to match up to $100,000 more.

By January 13, over $600,000 had been raised, with a goal of $1 million for aid, housing, and supplies.

Hilton is working with CORE to provide short-term housing, supplies, and support for animal shelters.

The fires have devastated L.A. and Ventura counties, causing 24 deaths, 16 missing persons, and displacing 180,000 residents.

Many have rescued pets, with over 300 animals taken in by the Pasadena Humane Society and more than 80 flown out. The Eaton and Palisades fires have destroyed over 12,300 structures.
