On a Southwest flight, Taylor Swift’s father had a cute conversation with the travel agent who was seated next to him

In a TikTok video posted on Wednesday, October 30, the tourist praised Scott Swift, saying, «He is the sweetest man on planet Earth.»

A travel agent is talking candidly about a touching experience she had on a recent Southwest trip with Taylor Swift’s father.

On Wednesday, October 30, the traveler—whose name is also Taylor—took to TikTok to share what she spoke with Scott Swift, the father of the «Karma» singer, when they were flying out of New Orleans. She claims that after watching his daughter sing at the Eras Tour’s Louisiana stop, Scott was sitting in the first row directly next to her.

The video begins with a little snippet of their conversation captured by another traveler before moving to the travel agent saying, «I’m the girl that was sitting next to Papa Swift.»

She acknowledges that she had to confront the «elephant in the room» and ask Scott, «Are you Taylor’s Dad?» while claiming she is not a «massive Swiftie» and was only traveling through New Orleans on her way to Mexico.

According to the TikToker, he said, «Yes, I am,» and then took some guitar picks out of his pocket and gave them to her.

After that, she summarizes their conversation during «story time» and calls Scott «a talker» and «the sweetest man on planet earth.»

«I didn’t even need to ask him questions, and he was just sharing everything about his life, including how proud he was of Taylor,» the TikToker wrote.

He showed her videos of the recent performances throughout much of the journey, she observes.

After a while, the third person in their row also recognized Scott and participated in the discussion.

She goes on to say, «He was showing us so many videos from the New Orleans shows.» He was highlighting his favorite scenes from the various episodes. He felt a great sense of pride.

They did snap a photo together «outside the plane and we took one in our seat,» TikToker Taylor continues, but he politely begged her not to share it immediately for privacy concerns.

The agent continues, «He compared the Eras tour to the feelings that Woodstock evoked in me in 1969 because that was the big thing of his time,» while talking about the influence of his daughter.
