Meghan Markle posts a heartfelt photo with Prince Harry as they celebrate Valentine’s Day separately, saying, «Taking care of our little ones.»

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, shared a never-before-seen photo with her husband, Prince Harry, 40, to mark Valentine’s Day on her newly created Instagram account.

The couple is spending the day apart as Prince Harry continues his work at the Invictus Games in Canada, while Meghan returned to California earlier in the week to be with their two children, Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3.

The black-and-white image shows the couple sharing a kiss while enjoying a meal together.

Meghan wrote, «Back home, taking care of our little ones, and missing my Valentine as he continues his work at the Invictus Games, inspiring others through the power of healing and resilience with these incredible veterans and their families.

I’m beyond proud of what my husband has built.»

She added, «My love, I will forever share burgers & fries and fish & chips with you. Thank you for being you.»

Meghan ended her message with the hashtag #lovewins and signed it off with «As ever, M.»

Meghan and Prince Harry had kicked off the Invictus Games together, attending the opening ceremony and several early events of the adaptive sports competition for service members and veterans, which the Duke of Sussex founded in 2014.

Meghan’s involvement in the Invictus Games highlighted that, despite her solo projects like the upcoming Netflix show With Love, Meghan, her and Harry’s personal and professional lives remain intertwined, with their family being her top priority.

In an exclusive interview during the Invictus Games, Prince Harry expressed his gratitude for Meghan’s support, saying, «Having my wife here by my side is amazing.

She’s such an important part of this journey.»

On February 12, Meghan gave a glimpse into her continued Invictus Games connection from home, sharing a photo of souvenirs for their children.

The couple’s kids received custom jerseys from Team Nigeria, along with treats like chocolates shaped like mountains and bear paws, and Timbits, bite-sized donuts from the Canadian chain Tim Hortons.

«A taste of Canada and The Invictus Games for our little ones!» Meghan captioned the photo. «Cheering you on from home!»

Though Prince Harry and Meghan were apart on Valentine’s Day, they seemed to have celebrated early, enjoying a double date with Michael Bublé and his wife, Luisana Lopilato, on February 10.

The couples dined at Il Caminetto, an Italian restaurant in Whistler, as reported by Town & Country.

Meghan was seen wearing diamond earrings from Harry, a Valentine’s gift from the previous year.

Their dinner echoed their 2024 Valentine’s Day, which they spent at the same restaurant while in Canada for Invictus Games winter training and a year-out countdown celebration.

Last year, the restaurant offered a special Valentine’s Day menu, with a four-course option priced at $109 per person, featuring dishes like oysters, squash risotto, and duck breast.
