Meghan Markle Postpones Netflix Premiere of With Love, Meghan Due to Los Angeles Wildfires

Meghan Markle has made the decision to delay the premiere of her Netflix series *With Love, Meghan*, originally scheduled for January 15, due to the ongoing devastation caused by wildfires in Los Angeles, her hometown.

Following Meghan’s request and with Netflix’s full support, the premiere has been postponed to March 4, as the wildfires continue to impact the area.

«I am grateful to Netflix for supporting this delay as we focus on helping those affected by the wildfires in California,» Meghan stated in a message on January 12.

California holds special significance for the Duchess of Sussex, who, at 43, now lives in Montecito with her husband, Prince Harry, and their two children, Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she has a deep connection to the state, which is reflected in her new series, *With Love, Meghan*.

The show, which celebrates Southern California’s beauty, will now reflect her commitment to her home state during this crisis.

The couple has opened their Montecito home to friends and loved ones forced to evacuate due to the fires. Through their Archewell Foundation, Meghan and Harry are actively working to assist the local community.

On January 10, they visited the World Central Kitchen in Pasadena to distribute food and supplies to victims of the Eaton Fire.

Their support has been focused on aiding relief efforts in a quiet, personal manner, offering essential supplies and connecting with families affected by the disaster.

Together with Jennifer Siebel Newsom, California’s First Partner, and Pasadena Mayor Victor Gordo, they expressed their gratitude for the tireless efforts of first responders, including firefighters and police officers.

They also met with José Andrés, the founder of World Central Kitchen, to commend the relief teams.

The Archewell Foundation has made financial contributions to aid recovery efforts and plans to continue supporting the rebuilding process in the coming months.

In a joint statement on January 9, Harry and Meghan highlighted the widespread destruction caused by the fires, which have devastated neighborhoods, schools, and medical centers, leaving tens of thousands in need of help.

They encouraged others to donate essentials such as clothing, toys, and supplies, and shared links to organizations, including The American Red Cross, supporting the relief efforts.

*With Love, Meghan* was filmed in Montecito, where Meghan is shown engaging in various activities, from cooking to tending a beehive and arranging flowers. «I’ve always loved taking something pretty ordinary and elevating it,» she says in a show promo.

«Surprising people with moments that let them know I was really thinking of them.»

Netflix describes the series as an inspiring blend of lifestyle programming, combining practical advice with intimate conversations among friends.

«Meghan shares personal tips and tricks, embracing playfulness over perfection, and shows how easy it can be to create beauty in unexpected ways,» the description continues.

The show features Meghan and her guests as they get their hands dirty in the kitchen, garden, and more.
