Lily Allen shows scars on her body that she got from mosquito bites

Lily Allen showcased some sore-looking mosquito bites on her Instagram Story on Thursday.

The singer and actress, 39, recently returned from a trip to Great Bear Rainforest, situated in Canada.

She went without her two children, daughters Ethel, 12, and Marnie, 11, whom she shares with her first husband Sam Cooper.

Lily documented her stay at the beautiful family-owned Nimmo Bay Resort which offers custom wilderness, wellness, and culinary experiences.

The trip comes after Lily controversially revealed she got rid of her dog after it cost her a fortune by eating her and her children’s passports and visas.

Speaking on the latest episode of her Miss Me? podcast, the singer confessed the pooch ‘ruined her life’ as the effort of replacing her documents turned out to be a ‘logistical nightmare’.

Lily also told of how Sam wouldn’t let her use her now husband David Harbour’s surname on the replacement passports — a bone of contention with the Stranger Things actor.

But despite her nightmare with her previous dog, Allen is soon planning to get another pooch, which she and her daughters have decided to call Jude Bellingham.

Lily, who lives in New York with David, 49, and her children, didn’t specify which dog she was referring to but it can be assumed that it was the puppy — named Mary — whom she and David adopted from New York City-based non-profit Animal Haven in 2021.

She said: ‘We actually did adopt a dog already, but then it ate my passport and so I took her back to the home.

‘She ate all three of our passports and they had our visas in.

‘And I cannot tell you how much money it cost me to get everything replaced, because it was in Covid and so it was just an absolute logistical nightmare.

‘And because the father of my children lives in England, I couldn’t take them back to see their dad for like four months, five months, because this f***ing dog had eaten the passports.
