Kylie Kelce Expresses Her Solidarity with Taylor Swift Following the Booing Incident at the Super Bowl

After Taylor Swift, 35, was met with boos from Super Bowl attendees when her image appeared on the jumbotron during the game on Sunday, Feb. 9, Kylie Kelce stepped in to show her support for the pop star.

Fox Sports host Erin Andrews, an avid Swift supporter, quickly defended the singer, expressing her sympathy on her podcast with fellow commentator Charissa Thompson.

Andrews remarked that it was unfortunate to see «the most famous amazing woman in the world» booed at such a massive event.

She emphasized Swift’s unparalleled influence, noting that the singer likely holds the attendance record at every stadium, including the Superdome, for her past performances.

Kylie, 32, echoed this sentiment by liking a post from Sports Illustrated that quoted Andrews’ defense of Swift on Instagram.

Before the game turned sour for Swift, she and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, along with his Kansas City Chiefs teammates, had been spotted enjoying dinner together in New Orleans, prior to the Super Bowl.

Swift and her close friends, Danielle and Alana Haim, were seen dining with Kylie at Gianna Restaurant, an Italian establishment near the French Quarter.

Fans were quick to notice Kylie’s presence with Swift, even capturing her chatting with the singer’s father, Scott Swift.

In a recent appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Kylie revealed that she knew about Swift’s relationship with her brother-in-law before the public did.

«Jason and I found out together,» she said, noting that they were aware before Swift’s public debut at the Chiefs game on Sept. 24, 2023.

Kylie also shared how she and Swift had connected over shared experiences, recalling their mutual visits to the same shore points as children.

«Her family went to Sea Isle, Stone Harbor, which are the exact places I grew up going to,» she said.

«I’ve been going to Sea Isle City my whole life.»
