On the Feb. 12 episode of Call Her Daddy, Kylie Kelce opened up about why she kept the early days of her romance with Jason Kelce a secret.
«I didn’t tell a soul,» the 32-year-old shared with host Alex Cooper, recalling how, during her college years, only her two closest friends at Cabrini University knew about her relationship with the former Philadelphia Eagles center.
«They kept it quiet, too,» she added.
While her field hockey teammates eventually suspected she was seeing someone, Kylie remained tight-lipped.
When one friend confronted her about it, she vaguely responded, «He lives in the city,» avoiding specifics.
Curiosity only grew, and when she finally admitted Jason played for the Eagles, the reaction reinforced why she had stayed silent.
«One of my teammates said, ‘Oh, that’s funny.
I know a girl who matched with an Eagle on Tinder, but he was hideous,’» Kylie recalled.
When her friend followed up with the name, she was shocked: «Five minutes later, she says, ‘His name was Jason Kelce.’»
Laughing, Kylie said that moment validated her decision to keep their relationship private.
«And the funniest part? Nothing ever actually happened between them,» she clarified.
Kylie and Jason first connected on Tinder while she was in college.
After dating for two years, they tied the knot in April 2018 in Philadelphia.
Now, they share three daughters—Wyatt Elizabeth, Elliotte Ray, and Bennett Llewellyn—and are expecting their fourth child.
