However, Kylie’s luxury lifestyle has drawn criticism after she posted about relief efforts for the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, shortly after her private jet made its 11th flight since January 1.

Despite growing concerns over excessive flying, particularly in light of the environmental impact, Kylie has made no move to reduce her jet usage.

Her £70 million aircraft has already emitted around 162 tons of CO2 this year, equivalent to the yearly electricity consumption of 33 homes.

Most of her trips have been short, with some lasting as little as 15 minutes, despite the ongoing fires that began on January 7.

Kylie Jenner’s jet emitted four tonnes of CO2 and used 361 gallons of fuel for a $2,000 flight, nearly six times the cost of a Eurostar ticket.

After her return to the U.S., she shared a post on Instagram promising to donate products to help teens affected by the LA fires, but this sparked backlash over her jet use.

Critics pointed out the hypocrisy of her charity efforts, given her frequent private jet flights.

Kylie, who bought a $72.8 million jet in 2020, took 195 flights in 2024, contributing significantly to CO2 emissions, even as wildfires ravaged Southern California.

This isn’t the first time Jenner has been criticized for her environmental impact.

In 2022, she faced backlash for taking a 12-minute flight for a short journey, contradicting her advocacy for eco-friendly living.

Despite her efforts to promote sustainable products, her frequent jet use has led to accusations of «eco-terrorism» and hypocrisy from both the media and environmental activists.
