Kim Kardashian panicked over a wardrobe malfunction just before her meeting at the White House
Kim Kardashian had a frantic moment before her April 2024 visit to the White House, experiencing an unexpected wardrobe malfunction.
As she was on her way to meet with former Vice President Kamala Harris, Kardashian realized that her outfit, a black blazer, wasn’t as conservative as she had hoped for the occasion.
In the car with her attorneys, Erin Haney and Jessica Jackson, she pointed out how much cleavage her blazer was showing and expressed concerns that it wasn’t appropriate for the meeting.
«I love being here. But I’m also literally falling apart,» Kardashian said in her confessional.
She continued to fret about her outfit, even asking if they could stop so Haney could grab her black sports bra to help adjust her look.
Kardashian considered switching to a higher-neckline sports bra that she had worn on the flight over. As they neared the White House, she scrambled to change, noting that they were running late.
«I’m just spiraling, but we’re gonna be so late. I’m changing in the car, trying to figure it out. [My] wig’s falling off. There’s just like a lot going on,” she said.
“Nothing like a little wardrobe wig malfunction to get the day going.”
Despite the behind-the-scenes chaos, Kardashian’s meeting with Harris focused on criminal justice reform.
Harris thanked Kardashian for using her platform to advocate for prisoners and second chances. Kardashian also spoke to recently pardoned inmates, urging others in similar situations to share their stories.
«I’m just here to help and spread the word,» she said.
