Khloé Kardashian shares that her daughter True experienced a frightening 105-degree fever during the Christmas festivities at Kris Jenner’s home: ‘It was truly scary.’
Khloé Kardashian has opened up about why she and her children were unable to join their family’s Christmas Eve celebration this year.
On Thursday, December 26, the 40-year-old Good American co-founder shared on her Instagram Stories that both her 2-year-old son Tatum and 6-year-old daughter True had been unwell leading up to the holiday.
True’s condition was particularly concerning, as she developed a «really scary» high fever.
“This holiday was wonderful in its own way, but definitely different,” Kardashian wrote, wishing her followers a Merry Christmas. “I wasn’t able to make it to the Christmas Eve party, which was such a bummer. I missed being with my family.”
She explained that Tatum had been «super sick» the weekend before Christmas but thankfully recovered in time for the festivities.
True, however, remained unwell, missing out on most of the holiday cheer.
“True had a 105-degree fever,” Kardashian revealed. “It was really scary and horrible to go through. She’s just now starting to feel better.”
Although too ill to fully participate, True still wanted to be near her family. “She joined us at Kris Jenner’s house but was resting in another room while I was cooking breakfast,” Kardashian shared.
“She wanted to be around the Christmas spirit, even though she wasn’t feeling up to celebrating.”
Now that True is on the mend, Kardashian is making up for lost time. “We’re doing Santa toys today since she wasn’t in the mood yesterday,” she explained.
“You know your kid is sick when even Santa’s presents don’t excite them.”
The devoted mom expressed her relief at True’s recovery, ending with a heartfelt message: “I’m so grateful she’s feeling better now.
I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas since I wasn’t able to do so properly yesterday.”
