Khloé Kardashian reveals that her 2-year-old son, Tatum, refers to Kris Jenner by a nickname that was exclusively used by the late Robert Kardashian.

In the February 13th episode of The Kardashians, Khloé Kardashian, 40, shared how much her 2-year-old son, Tatum—whom she welcomed via surrogacy—resembles her late father, Robert Kardashian.

Unlike the other grandchildren, Tatum doesn’t call Kris Jenner by her usual nickname «Lovey.»

«He’s so much like my dad,» Khloé remarked during the episode.

«He calls my mom ‘honey,’ and that’s what my dad used to call her. No one has asked him to call her that, at least not that I know of.»

In a heartfelt moment, Khloé reflected on her emotional journey with Tatum, admitting that bonding with him after his birth was different from her experience with her daughter, True.

She acknowledged that her emotional state at the time played a significant role.

«I knew he was my son, I loved him, and I took care of him, but I didn’t have that immediate, instinctual bond I had with True,» she explained.

«I was really frustrated with myself for not feeling that connection right away.»

Khloé emphasized that her feelings were never about Tatum, whom she described as the «best, sweetest, most loving boy,» but rather the circumstances surrounding his birth.

She added, «I never thought that when Tatum turned 5, I’d still be struggling with bonding.

I was mad at myself for not overcoming it faster.»

In the season 3 finale of The Kardashians in 2023, Khloé shared that she had made significant progress in bonding with Tatum. «It’s definitely gotten easier,» she said.

Earlier in the season, she had confided in Kris about the differences between her experiences with True and Tatum, noting that while it only took days to bond with True, it took months to build a connection with Tatum.
