Jennifer Lopez is offering her support to Jessica Alba as the *Sin City* actress navigates life following her split from husband Cash Warren.
After Alba confirmed in a statement on January 16 that she and Warren had separated after 16 years of marriage, Lopez showed her support by liking the post.
In her statement on Instagram, Alba, 43, shared, «I’ve been on a journey of self-realization and transformation for years — both as an individual and in partnership with Cash.»
«I’m proud of how we’ve evolved as a couple and in our marriage over the last 20 years, and now it’s time for us to start a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals,» continued the *Trigger Warning* actress.
She also mentioned that she and Warren, 45, «are moving forward with love, kindness, and respect for each other and will always be family.»
«Our children remain our top priority, and we ask for privacy at this time,» Alba concluded.
Alba and Warren first met in 2004 on the set of *Fantastic Four*. They married in May 2008 and have three children: daughters Honor, 16, and Haven, 13, and son Hayes, 7.
TMZ reported on January 9 that the couple had separated and were preparing for a divorce. A source also confirmed to *PEOPLE* on January 15 that Alba had hired a divorce attorney.
Lopez, 55, recently finalized her own divorce from Ben Affleck on January 6, nearly 20 weeks after filing for divorce on August 20, 2024, exactly two years after their wedding celebration in Georgia. In an October 2024 interview with Nikki Glaser for *Interview* magazine, Lopez reflected on her personal growth, especially in light of a challenging yet enlightening year.
«It’s a lifelong process,» Lopez said about self-discovery. «I think that’s what I love about life: there’s no arrival point.

She added that while she thought she had life figured out at times, it often challenged her with new lessons.
Regarding her dating life, Lopez expressed that she’s not actively looking for someone, saying, «Now I’m excited… what can I do when it’s just me flying on my own? What if I’m just free?»
