The former couple, both 52, came together to enjoy the holiday as a family, spending time with their three kids: Violet, 19, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.
«Jen and Ben were all together for Christmas. It’s all for the kids,” the insider shared.
«Jen grew up with her family around for the holidays, and she wants to provide the same for her children.»
Although Garner and Affleck separated in 2015 after nearly a decade of marriage, they’ve been spending more time together recently. This shift comes after Affleck and his ex-wife, Jennifer Lopez, filed for divorce in August.
The former spouses were spotted together on Dec. 7 picking up bagels, and it was reported they had breakfast before heading back to Affleck’s house.
They also spent Thanksgiving volunteering with their kids at The Midnight Mission’s annual Thanksgiving Street Fair, an event dedicated to feeding the homeless in Los Angeles.
«They really enjoy giving back and cherishing quality time as a family,» an insider revealed.
Garner, who has always prioritized her children’s happiness, continues to ensure that they have time with both parents. «She just wants the kids to be happy,» a source added. «She makes sure they all spend time together and include Ben.»

Garner has been in a relationship with John Miller, a CEO and father of two, since 2021, after briefly splitting in 2019. They first connected in 2018, around the time her divorce from Affleck was finalized.
“Although the divorce was just finalized, Jen had already considered herself single for a while.
Dating felt like a natural next step,” an insider shared at the time.
“Jen will always care about Ben and help him be the best dad, but she was ready to move on.”
A source told in December 2024 that Garner is «very happy» with Miller, and the couple is going strong, seeing each other nearly every day.
