Here’s Everything You Need to Know About Lady Gaga’s Million-Dollar Engagement Ring (Featuring Multiple Pink Diamonds!)
Lady Gaga’s engagement ring from fiancé Michael Polansky is truly a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
The couple first went public with their relationship in February 2020, when Gaga shared an intimate photo of them cuddling on a yacht.
Four years later, on April 1, 2024, Polansky proposed during a rock climbing trip, presenting the «A Star Is Born» actress with an impressive oval-cut diamond on a pavé diamond band.
In a September 2024 interview with Vogue, Gaga spoke about how Polansky brought the “missing piece” of real love into her life.
She shared, “I had never met anyone like Michael. He’s so smart and kind. Our lives are very different, but we’re right for each other.”
The singer also expressed her joy, saying, “I’m just so happy.”
Since announcing their engagement in the summer of 2024, Gaga has proudly shown off her jaw-dropping ring at events such as the Venice International Film Festival and the 2025 Grammys.
Her custom-designed ring is a true showstopper.
It features a large oval-cut diamond, set on an 18-karat white and rose gold pavé diamond band adorned with natural pink ombré diamonds and a hidden white diamond halo.
The ring was crafted by Sofia Jewelry, a renowned jewelry store in Mill Valley, California.
The ring is estimated to be worth between $500,000 and $2 million, depending on the size of the center stone.
Polansky proposed on April 1, 2024, which happened to be April Fool’s Day.
Gaga initially thought it was a prank but later revealed the tender moment during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live!
She recounted the proposal, saying, “He didn’t propose at the top of the climb.
We took some photos at the top, then walked back down. It was a very Michael moment when he asked if he could propose.”
Gaga confirmed her answer was a resounding «Yes!»
When asked if Polansky got down on one knee, Gaga said, “No, but I’m a modern lady. I loved how he did it.”
Gaga first debuted the ring at the Venice Film Festival in September 2024, where she promoted Joker: Folie à Deux alongside Polansky.
Her mother, Cynthia Germanotta, had predicted the couple’s eventual marriage after meeting Polansky at an event. Gaga shared, “My mom met him and said, ‘I think I just met your husband.’
I told her, ‘I’m not ready for that!’”
She added, “I could never have imagined that my mom would find the perfect person for me.”
