Following her pilot appearance, Selena Gomez discusses if she will return to the Wizards of Waverly Place revival

Selena Gomez has made it clear if she would be returning to the Wizards of Waverly Place revival.

Selena, who portrayed a young girl with magical abilities, became well-known thanks to the 2007–2012 Disney Channel original series.

Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, a follow-up series that debuted on the Disney Channel last month, brought the brand back to life this year.

In the opening episode of the remake, Selena played her former role from the original series, Alex Russo, bringing viewers back into the universe of the program.

As an executive producer on the new program, the 32-year-old pop sensation has now revealed that she will return for one of the last two episodes.

With a touching behind-the-scenes Instagram album from the finale shot, which seemed to have happened in front of a studio audience, she revealed the news.

Selena posted a photo with a group of kids who appeared to be the audience because they were positioned in front of tiers of chairs.

«There’s nothing better than making young children laugh.»

I’m grateful to @disneywizardsseries for bringing joy to my inner child! I hope you all watch! She penned.

After getting her big break on Barney and Friends when she was ten years old, Selena initially shot to popularity on the original Wizards of Waverly Place.

She previously disclosed that she felt’stunted’ by being in Hollywood at such a young age, despite her affection for the program that made her a child star.

She told Elle, «I have no regrets, I have a great family, and I’m grateful that my parents established the rules.»

But if I were thinking about myself right now, I doubt I would have done it so young.

She said, «I felt stunted by a lot of things.»

«It didn’t help me develop a sense of self in my twenties to add a lot of pressure from a lot of people.»

It was an extremely challenging period. I deal with it on a daily basis.

«I try my hardest to stay positive about everything and focus on things like this [movie] that really make me happy,» Selena, who is promoting her new Netflix comedy Emilia Perez, stated.

However, I would just advise waiting and living a little.
