Exclusive. What’s Ahead for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Following the ‘Disappointing’ Super Bowl: ‘Their Lives Have Been a Rollercoaster’
With the Super Bowl now behind them and Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concluded, she and Travis Kelce are finally looking forward to some much-needed downtime.
A source tells that the couple plans to «take a break together» after the Kansas City Chiefs’ 40-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on February 9 in New Orleans, a result that was «disheartening for everyone involved.»
«Their lives have been a whirlwind since they began dating,» the insider shares. «But everything seems great between them, and they’re both incredibly happy together.»
Swift, 35, was a regular presence at Chiefs games this season, often bringing family and friends to cheer from a suite at Arrowhead Stadium.
She continued this tradition at the Super Bowl, where she was joined by her brother Austin, father Scott, and friends Ice Spice, Ashley Avignone, and the Haim sisters—Este, Danielle, and Alana—to cheer on Kelce, 35, as the Chiefs tried to make NFL history by securing a third consecutive Super Bowl win.
“She absolutely loves watching Travis play,” the source says.
Kelce, in turn, was equally supportive, attending numerous shows during Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour, even making a surprise cameo on stage with her in London.
Swift wrapped up her nearly two-year-long tour in December after performing close to 150 shows.
Following the Chiefs’ loss, Kelce’s brother Jason, who retired from the NFL last year after playing his entire career with the Eagles, shared his thoughts on social media about the defeat and its emotional toll on Travis.
“There isn’t a person I love or care about more [than Travis],” Jason wrote on X.
“Of course, it’s been tough, but Travis doesn’t need nor want my pity.
He’s achieved greatness that few on this planet could ever dream of, and he, along with his team, should be proud of their accomplishments.”
Just a day before the Super Bowl, Kelce expressed his contentment with life.
“I think I’ve found it all. I just gotta keep it,” he told Westwood One Sports.
“I’m the happiest I’ve ever been.
I love what I do, and I’m surrounded by an amazing support system from family and friends.
I feel like a very fortunate individual, and I’m taking advantage of every good day.”
Meanwhile, his father Ed Kelce shared that Travis is «very happy» with Swift and that the couple is eager to enjoy some quiet time away from the limelight.
