At the Nov. 15 launch party for her close friend and hair colorist Kadi Lee’s new Highbrow Hippie Haircare and Wellness brand at the Gjelina restaurant in Venice, California, the 43-year-old Duchess of Sussex made the relatable disclosure, demonstrating her support for the female-founded business that she invests in.
Following Lee’s discussion of how her connection with Meghan shaped the development of her company, the Duchess of Sussex said, «I was using boxed dye when I met her!» to laughter from the audience.
Meghan gave Lee a wonderful gift during the launch party: flowers from the garden of her Montecito home, where she resides with Prince Harry kids their three-year-old Princess Lilibet and five-year-old Prince Archie.
