This Christmas season, Travis Kelce is giving the gift of singing!
When the 35-year-old NFL player returns to his brother Jason Kelce’s yearly Christmas album with a Philadelphia theme, Travis is honoring his Cleveland Heights heritage!
On Thursday, October 29, Jason and his former Eagles colleagues Lane Johnson and Jordan Mailata were seen in the studio working on the third part of the well-known holiday album in a behind-the-scenes video posted by the official A Philly Special Christmas Instagram account.
«I think when Travis hears it he’s going to be very excited about it,» Jason told producers in the preview for this year’s event.
A sample of Travis’ voice from his featured tune was also included. After the Kansas City Chiefs tight end sings, «Wandering the streets of my hometown, must have been years since I’ve been home,» Jason’s and his voices combine to sing, «In Cleveland Heights.»
The official Instagram account for A Philly Special Christmas says that on Friday, Nov. 1, the brothers’ duet will be available for streaming worldwide.
While Taylor Swift, Travis’ girlfriend, is finishing up her record-breaking Eras Tour, Travis is returning to the vocal booth.
Swift, 34, will wrap up her tour in December after recent dates in New Orleans and Miami, where Jason and his wife Kylie enjoyed the event with their girls and Donna Kelce.
Under the leadership of Jason, Mailata, and Lane, the inaugural A Philly Special Christmas was published in December 2022. In September, Jason and his old teammates revealed the third edition in the series, despite Jason’s March 4 NFL retirement.
