Exclusive. Kim Kardashian feels «really conflicted» about her 11-year-old daughter North’s budding «career,» expressing, «It’s either her or me»

Kim Kardashian is thrilled about her older daughter North starting her career, though she admits it has added some challenges to her life.

In a scene from The Kardashians on Hulu, Kim, 44, shares with her mom Kris Jenner and sister Khloé Kardashian how she’s balancing North’s growing career with her own.

“I thought I was busy before. But now, having to be North’s momager is insane.

It wasn’t even on my radar this year,» Kim says, sitting with her family.

Kris responds, “It’s a lot of work, a lot of energy.”

Kim agrees, saying, «And I’m not ready,» as Khloé jokes, «You’re like, I have my own stuff to manage.»

Kim explains, «If she has a shoot, I have to be there all day. It’s like, it’s either her or me.»

In a confessional, Kim admits she’s torn when it comes to prioritizing her daughter’s career opportunities over life’s experiences.

«I’m really conflicted about North’s career, and we’re going to discuss it soon,» Kim reveals.

«I want to make sure everything is well balanced—work and fun life experiences. I just want balance.»

North has had a busy year. The daughter of Kim and her ex-husband Kanye West performed as Young Simba in The Lion King production this past May, appeared on West’s song «Talking / Once Again» last February, and was recently featured on FKA twigs’ track «Childlike Things.»

Earlier this month, Kim opened up about her evolving «momager» role on World’s First Podcast, hosted by Erin and Sara Foster.

Kim shared that when North gets a photo shoot offer, the family has serious discussions to decide what’s best for her.

Kim also revealed how her own hectic schedule doesn’t stop her from taking her kids to school, calling it «morning madness.»

«I love it. It’s amazing. And when they work, I have to be there to see everything.

It’s got to be worth it for us to make a decision,» she said.

Kim adds that every major decision regarding her kids’ careers is made as a family.

«If North has something and I have to leave filming, it’s a family decision and really important to her,» she says.

«I’ve had to pass on a lot of things because it’s too much, and I’m not really ready to be a momager, but I’m kind of forced into it.»
