Exclusive. Jennifer Garner plans to keep spending quality time with Ben Affleck and their children, including over the Christmas holiday

Jennifer Garner will be spending this Christmas with Ben Affleck and their three children.

A source reveals that the 52-year-old actress is looking forward to celebrating the holiday with her ex-husband and their kids—Violet, 19, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12—after they requested to spend the special day together.

“Jen truly wants her kids to be happy. She will make sure they have time together as a family and include Ben,” the source shares.

“They’ve made plans for Christmas with the kids as well,” the insider adds. “The kids love it when they all spend time together.”

In an exclusive conversation earlier this week, Garner also shared how she and her children are planning to enjoy the holiday season.

Reflecting on Thanksgiving, the actress mentioned that her kids are now old enough to contribute to the family meal by preparing their own dishes.

«I have one child who specializes in mashed potatoes, that’s their thing, one who loves making apple pie, and then there’s one who, goodness only knows, what she’ll make,» the proud mom said with a laugh.

While Thanksgiving holds significant meaning in her family, the actress shared that one of her kids was eager to fast forward a month to celebrate Christmas.

“The other night, I came home from work, and my son had Christmas music blasting throughout the entire house. He was wearing an apron and making ginger snaps,” she recalled of her preteen. “And I thought, ‘That’s exactly the energy I want to see in our home right now.’”

When asked about other Christmas traditions, the Deadpool & Wolverine star revealed that she and her three children will be continuing their tradition of attending The Nutcracker.

“We’ll definitely go see The Nutcracker because it’s such an important part of Christmas for me and for my kids—thank goodness I’ve managed to pass that down to them,” she shared. “And of course, it’s all about being together with family.”
