Exclusive: It turns out that Taylor Swift is the richest female musician with a fortune of 1.6 billion dollars, surpassing even Rihanna.
According to Forbes, the singer’s most recent estimated net worth is $1.4 billion, barely surpassing that of Rihanna and her Fenty brand.
Taylor Swift has surpassed Rihanna to become the world’s richest female musician by a small margin.
Forbes claims that Swift’s successful Eras Tour increased her net worth, helping her become a billionaire late last year. With almost $2 billion in tour earnings over 125 gigs, or over $16 million per show, Swift holds the record for the highest tour revenue ever.
The vocalist of «Bad Blood» is currently estimated to be worth $1.6 billion.
Swift’s increased wealth is due to touring as well as her $600 million catalog, an extra $600 million in royalties, and approximately $125 million in real estate from her numerous US residences, according to Forbes.
Her Eras Tour movie was also a hit, grossing more than $261 million at the box office since its release in October 2023.
Swift gained notoriety when she declared that she would rerecord every album from her past in order to keep the masters, credits, and royalties. Her renditions of songs in the style of «Taylor’s Version» have been popular ever since. In a 2019 interview with Good Morning America, she stated, «I believe that artists deserve to own their work.»

The R&B singer’s lucrative cosmetics company Fenty Beauty, and her lingerie label Savage X Fenty account for most of her income. Rihanna famously hasn’t released an album in nearly a decade since 2016’s ANTI.
Still, her CD Good Girl Gone Bad from 2007 remained on the Billboard 200 for three years.
