Even though Taylor Swift only slightly altered her hairstyle in Indianapolis this past weekend, the Swifties were definitely aware of it!
Swift, 34, hit the stage on the second night of her last U.S. tour stop on November 2 wearing a bright orange Versace bodysuit and her blonde hair straight and down. Nothing unusual.
Then her bangs were observed by the admirers.
Swifties were posting siren emojis along with phrases like «HER BANGS OMG» and «TAYLOR SWIFT CUT HER BANGS!» on X (previously Twitter).
A video of Swift at the opening of the event, when fans first saw the Grammy-winning performer with her somewhat shorter bangs, was included with several of the posts.
The same video, which has around a million views as of this writing, was shared by prominent Swift update accounts on X to spread the word. However, some were not persuaded and responded to the postings on the bang cut by stating that they thought Swift had just «swooped» her bangs to the side.
It’s reasonable to assume that someone with curtain bangs has occasionally worn her bangs with a little curl.
Swift’s performance on November 2 was a huge event; her beau Travis Kelce was also there at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Fans were persuaded that Swift’s mashup of 1989’s «This Love» and The Tortured Poets Department’s «The Prophecy» was specifically for him as he watched from the audience.
Swift recalls her previous relationship goals in the lyrics of «The Prophecy» and looks to a higher power to guide her in finding love. «Let it once be me / Who do I have to speak to / About if they can redo / The prophecy?» is one of the lyrics she sings.
Swift altered the words to «This Love,» a song about the highs and lows of love, from «These hands had to let it go free / and this love came back to me» to «These hands had to let it go free / and it changed the prophecy,» according to a video posted on X.
