For the first time in the brand’s history, an all-female lineup was completed by the «Believe» singer, who sang her classics on the New York City runway.
The moment Cher took the stage at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was as spectacular as fans could have imagined!
On Tuesday, October 15, the 78-year-old pop icon performed at the 2024 show, which was the comeback of the yearly runway extravaganza after it was canceled in 2019 due to criticism over its lack of diversity.
Cher stood with lover Alexander Edwards on the pink carpet and told host Olivia Culpo that her performance attire was «not a big deal,» adding that «don’t expect that much.»
However, while Cher performed two of her greatest songs, «Strong Enough» and «Believe,» the all-black outfit stood out among the sea of red models passing by. She even changed her go-to black Cher hairstyle from the blonde one she wore on the red carpet.
Cher looked stunning in glitzy, enormous cargo trousers as she walked the New York City catwalk. She wore a glittering strapless top over it, which was secured with a corset that exposed leather skin. The layered appearance was enhanced with a long-sleeve cropped coat, and the glam ensemble was given a little additional sparkle by diamond jewelry.

Cher paired her multicolored leather barrel trousers with zipper accents with a plum jacket layered over a mesh top for her carpet appearance. She also accessorized with a number of belts, rings, and a pair of eye-catching earrings to add even more metallic elements.
The 38-year-old Edwards wore a black suit and a white undershirt, accessorizing them with an eye-catching Vivienne Westwood tie and oval sunglasses that harked back to the 1990s.
As they stood on the pink carpet, the two hugged close to one another; at one point, Edwards even kissed her cheek.
When Victoria’s Secret originally revealed Cher’s headline show in September, they referred to the pop singer as a «icon,» «legend,» and «mother of fashion.»
