Exclusive. At her NYC fashion event, Angelina Jolie is spotted chit-chatting with Brad Pitt’s buddy Chris Rock
On Thursday night, Angelina Jolie was spotted hanging out with fellow actor Chris Rock.
The Oscar-winning actress hosted a special evening in her New York City boutique, Atelier Jolie, as one of the guests.
Dan Chen took pictures of Jolie and Rock, who is pals with Angelina’s ex-husband Brad Pitt, and posted them on the store’s Instagram page.
They were having a sit-down supper and talking about sculpture while sat close to one other.
Fashion designers Diane von Furstenberg and Tory Burch were also there.
«The Catharsis Arts Foundation, which uses sculpture to embody social issues, create empathy, and uplift communities in a virtuous cycle, had a memorable evening at Atelier Jolie,» the description said.
The initiative is a partnership between the families of the Chibok girls, who were abducted by Boko Haram in 2014, and the Department of Fine & Applied Arts at Obafemi-Awolowo University.
The store has been bustling with workshops on how to be creative with apparel since Atelier Jolie launched last year.
In addition to a lesson with Andrew Castrucci called Experimental Drawing, there was a session on «upcycling,» which is the practice of recycling existing objects.
Jolie has also had a discussion with Ferrari Sheppard, an artist.
A fan of Atelier Jolie commented, «I like it in there, it’s amazing. It’s bustling and has a very smart vibe.» «It’s an awesome spot to hang out.»
Highlighting artists was undoubtedly a labor of love for Jolie. Additionally, the source said, «The café is enjoyable and the coffee is good.»
