Exclusive. Amid the ongoing fires in Los Angeles, Angelina Jolie and her children are giving back by stepping in to help. They’re «asking what’s needed and jumping in,» an insider reveals

Angelina Jolie and her six children are actively volunteering and offering support as wildfires continue to devastate Southern California, a source reveals.

«Her kids are volunteering across the state, inquiring about what’s needed and jumping right in,» a source close to Jolie shared on January 13.

«She visited the firefighters at the Rose Bowl and has built a close relationship with the team at World Central Kitchen,» a group she initially connected with during her trip to Ukraine in May 2022.

Jolie, mother to Maddox (23), Pax (20), Zahara (19), Shiloh (18), and twins Vivienne and Knox (16), has spent two decades working with the United Nations to aid refugees displaced by conflict.

«She’s taking a step back, listening, and making sure she doesn’t get in anyone’s way,» the insider explained regarding her approach to helping those affected by the fires, which began on January 7.

«She understands that what matters most is providing supplies, donating, and falling in line. She isn’t seeking attention for her efforts, just listening and learning.»

Another source revealed that Jolie has even opened her home to friends who had to evacuate due to the wildfires.

As of January 12, local authorities reported that the death toll from the wildfires had risen to 24, with at least 16 people still missing.

The fires are among the most destructive in Los Angeles history.

«Angie is devastated for those who’ve lost their homes or are affected by the fires,» the source added.

«She’s doing everything she can to help, including offering shelter to friends who were forced to evacuate.»

The fires have displaced over 80,000 people, including celebrities like Leighton Meester, Adam Brody, Anna Faris, Ricki Lake, Cary Elwes, and Cameron Mathison.

In addition, stars like Halle Berry and Sharon Stone are giving back by assisting the Beverly Hills-based business, The COOP, in organizing clothing and supply drives for those in need and raising awareness of the effort.
