Exclusive. A Look Inside Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s Post-Championship Game Celebration: ‘It Was Truly Special’
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are gearing up for the Super Bowl.
Swift was there to celebrate with Kelce and their loved ones after the Kansas City Chiefs secured their place in the 2025 Super Bowl by defeating the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, January 26.
«It was a tense game, and the victory was such an incredible feeling,» a source close to the couple, both 35, reveals.
«They had their friends and family at the game, and everything about it felt really special.»
The insider continues, «Taylor knows exactly how it feels to be intensely focused on a goal. She and Travis really cherish their football family.»
The Chiefs played the Bills at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City for the AFC Championship, and it was a nail-biter, especially when the game tied in the fourth quarter.
A three-point field goal in the final moments put the Chiefs ahead, ending the game at 32-29.
Taylor, dressed in a stylish Louis Vuitton outfit, brought her parents Scott and Andrea, along with her brother Austin, to Kansas City for the thrilling playoff game.
Kelce’s mother Donna and brother Jason were also there, cheering on the Chiefs.
Taylor appeared visibly nervous in her suite, especially during the intense moments of the game.
When the Chiefs scored a touchdown in the second quarter, she celebrated with a group hug with Donna and Andrea.
After the game, during the on-field celebration, Taylor shared her stress with Brittany Mahomes, the wife of quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
«You kept me so calm these past few weeks,» Taylor told Brittany, noting that she had been texting her reassurance, saying, «It’s going to be okay.»
As the ceremony wrapped up, Travis gave Taylor a huge hug, and they shared a kiss on the field.
With the Chiefs’ victory in the AFC Championship against the Bills, they will face the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl on February 9 at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
The two teams met last year for the Vince Lombardi trophy, with the Chiefs emerging victorious.
The Chiefs are now just one win away from becoming the first NFL team to win three consecutive Super Bowl titles, with only the Eagles standing in their way.
