Speaking on the red carpet, she revealed, “I walked here,” and when pressed for the hotel’s location, she quipped, “Not far.”
On Sunday, January 5, the 62-year-old actress, who earned a nomination for her standout role in *The Substance*, graced the red carpet in a breathtaking metallic silk gown. The custom Giorgio Armani Privé creation featured a strapless champagne silk design, enhanced by curved geometric accents adorned with Swarovski crystals, showcasing Moore’s signature elegance.
Moore’s nomination for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture — Musical or Comedy comes on the heels of critical praise for her performance in the 2024 body horror film *The Substance*. In the film, she portrays Elisabeth Sparkle, a TV aerobics instructor forced to reinvent herself after being fired at 50.

Reflecting on the film’s themes, Moore told *The Hollywood Reporter*’s *Awards Chatter* podcast on December 2, “It struck me deeply, exploring the complex relationship we have with aging and the self-critical lens we often turn on ourselves. It’s such a universal struggle.”
Moore also admitted she’d been questioning her career trajectory before landing the role. “I reached a point where I started wondering, ‘Is this chapter over?
